WebLogic Administration
- Install, configure, and administer **Oracle WebLogic Server environments across multiple domains.
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server (11g/12c/14c)
- Configure JDBC, JMS, data sources, connection pools, and security realms
- Perform WebLogic patching, upgrades, and migration activities
- Manage WebLogic clusters, managed servers, node managers, and admin servers.
- Deploy and manage enterprise applications (EAR, WAR, JAR files).
- Configure JDBC data sources, JMS queues, connection pools, and security realms.
- Perform domain configuration, tuning, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor server health, JVM tuning, thread dumps, heap analysis
- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning
- Analyze logs and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Configure clustering, load balancing, failover mechanisms (HA & DR)
- Support DR setup and DR drills
- Configure SSL, certificates & implement weblogic security best practices
- Manage users, roles, and authentication providers (LDAP/AD)
- Experience on supporting Oracle Identity Management stack (OAM, OIM, OID, OAuth) will be given preference
- Working knowledge on Administering Oracle SOA suite (SOA & OSB) will be beneficial.
Operations & Platform Stability
- Monitor WebLogic environments for performance, capacity, and availability.
- Troubleshoot server crashes, thread dumps, heap issues, connection leaks, and JVM problems.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and security hardening of WebLogic environments.
- Ensure high availability using clustering and load balancingIntegration & Platform Ecosystem
- Integrate WebLogic with backend platforms such as Oracle Database and enterprise applications.
- Work with web servers such as Oracle HTTP Server or Apache HTTP Server for reverse proxy and load balancing.
- Support integrations with identity and access management systems.
Automation & DevOps
- Automate operational tasks using WLST scripts and shell scripting.
- Support CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Maintain configuration consistency across environments.
Incident & Change Management
- Provide L2/L3 operational support for middleware incidents.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive improvements.
- Support change management and release activities.
