Path Infotech (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal information of users (“you,” “your”) who use our Employee Attendance App (“PathLite”).

PathLite is an Employee Attendance App only for the use of Path Employees to mark their attendance based on their work location.

PathLite captures the user’s location (GPS and network-based) in the background. This location access enables us to “show the employee’s location to her/his manager” and “collect daily attendance”.

A special mention – we also take permission to allow access to Device ID, phone status and identity, and network connections on the user’s mobile device.

By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

1. Data Collection & Usage

We may collect the following types of information when you use the App:

  • Personal Information: Name, Login ID, email ID — collected to identify employees and manage attendance.
  • Attendance Data: Clock-in and clock-out times, work hours — collected to record attendance and generate reports.
  • Device Information: Device ID, OS version, and app usage data — collected for app performance, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Location Data (if enabled): To verify attendance from authorized locations (not shared with third parties), the App will request access to GPS or location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for:

  • Recording and managing our employees’ attendance.
  • Generating reports for employees and their managers.
  • Verifying identity and ensuring secure access to the App.
  • Improving the functionality, reliability, and security of the App.
  • Meeting legal or compliance requirements as applicable.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Information may be shared only in the following cases:

  • With your Path Infotech manager/supervisor, to provide attendance tracking and reporting services.
  • With trusted service providers who help us operate and maintain the App (under strict confidentiality obligations).
  • When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Security

Path Infotech employs organizational, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect information. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary, or as mandated by relevant legal or compliance obligations under Path Infotech’s corporate policies.

6. Your Rights

Depending on jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
