Job Description
- Installation and configuration of Oracle server software and related products.
- Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products.
- Maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Good Knowledge of database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
- Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
- Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required.
- Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development team.
- Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support and patch management and version Control.
- Good Experience to hand the team and client.
- Having good explorer to handle the work individual.
Skills and competency-
• Good exposure in Oracle Database Configuration, Maintenance, Cloning, Patching.
• Good exposure in Oracle Database troubleshooting.
• Good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Import/Export and Datapump).
• Oracle Database Installation 10g/11g on windows and unix environment.
• Oracle Database Advanced Installation 10g/11g (RAC and ASM).
• Good exposure in Dataguard implementation and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager.
